Can you better define what does not work? Can you share a link to a post with Connections inserted on a post which does not work? Also, any specific reason you’re using an older version of Connections?

It seems like there is some difference between pages and posts when translating connections shortcut,
I mean page using page.tpl – works fine, but when there is a post using single.tpl it doesnt work
is it clear now ? 🙂

One difference between posts and pages is that on posts, all links generated by Connections will resolve to the page set of the directory home page. Whereas on pages, the links generated by Connections will resolve to the current page unless forced via a shortcode option to resolve to the directory home page.
Is that what you are asking about? If so, that is the correct functionality.
