I have always used Smugmug to host my photos for my WordPress blog, but would like to start using Flickr. Whenever I wanted to insert an image from my Smugmug account into a post, I just copied the sharing link for the size photo I wanted and inserted it into the “Add Media” section. When I tried that with Flickr, it just ends up showing the link and not the photo in the post. Can anyone help me with this. I’m sure there’s a simple explanation. Thank you!

Hi Gail, I’ve been meaning to track down that last thread about JetPack comments – sorry, sorry I dropped the ball on it :(. I think that older thread you mentioned in that thread was probably relevant, but I’d be hesitant to use old code since JP is updated pretty often, I think. So if you are still trying to fix that on your site, why don’t you ask the JetPack devs about it? They’d really be much more qualified than me to advise you :)!

On this topic, there are a few plugins for Flickr – so maybe that’s what you need?

No worries about the issues I was having with the JetPack comments, etc. I actually found a new theme that I like much, much better and have installed it. I will look at the plug-in you suggested for Flickr. Thanks!
