Inserting php in TAB title

I need to make my tab title link to a field in SQL, how can I insert a php line into the tab title.

for example instead of typing the word XYZ it is more like <php echo $XYZ ?> where i set the variable in.

or can I out a shortcode in somehow, tried it with [wbcr_php_snippet id=”282″] where the short code echos the info I want.
