Instagram Embeds not working

    How are you embedding them? Using a short code or just pasting the URL in?

    I’m using the embed code given by Instagram. The images do not show up but the other elements like # of likes and comments etc are showing up.

    I tried another plugin and the embeds are showing up properly, but not the gallery slideshows. 🙁

    Ah I see, in WordPress you can just paste the link to the Instagram post in and it converts it to an embed automatically, that definitely work correctly with the plugin (I use it myself!)

    I’ll investigate why the Instagram embed code work doesn’t work though, it really should do.

    Just out of the topic of Instagram embed I have also removed the h2 and h3 code from the plugin when I was using it, as my first paragraph from blog post are repeated as h2 content. (I’m referring to editing the PHP file parsing the post and formatting into rss for FB)

    Do you mean the post excerpt? If so we’re actually adding an option not to show that to the admin settings in the next version, hopefully being released tomorrow.

    OK, just like the Youtube issue it’s the theme at fault.

    The copied link from IG doesn’t work properly with the theme and only the copied embed code works. I tried the direct link with WP default theme and it worked fine.

    Considered this case close, but I’m looking forward towards this plugin being able to format the IG embed codes in the future. Thanks again!
