Where do I add a slider to the free version of Ample?

The demo version has a large slider at the top. That is what I am wondering how to add.

The Demo version of Ample has a slider at the top but I don’t see how to add it. Can someone instruct me?

go to dashboard, click customize, click slider on left menu
