Install error

    This is my first time installing WP. I could not find all the files needed for 2.6.1 so I start to install 2.5. Now I am getting the following error. What am I doing wrong?

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_install() in /home/content/s/c/o/scotmarsh/html/wp-admin/install.php on line 87

    Click the download button at the top of the page and grab 2.6.2
    and try that.
    2.5 has security issues.

    The error likely means all of the files are not uploaded.
