Hi, I’m new to WordPress.com. I want to install my own theme on a site. From the backend this doesn’t seem possible. Only themes from WordPress itself are available. Is that possible, and if so: how do I do that?

That is a WordPress.com blog, which we really can’t help with here.

To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and ww.wp.xz.cn are two different entities: https://codex.ww.wp.xz.cn/WordPress_vs_WordPress.com

On WordPress.COM you can’t install your own themes or plugins.

The only way to do that to set up your own serlf-hosted site, using the software from ww.wp.xz.cn
