Install when analytics code may already exits?

    Hello,
    Hope you can provide some guidance on this …. I’d like to install this plugin but have a concern. Google Analytics is already capturing something from my WordPress site but the code does not seem to be in either the header or footer or other template files where I think it would normally be found. So, it being somewhere on the site, will it cause problems if I install this plugin? Or will this plugin just overwrite what is there?

    It won’t overwrite what is there.. it is a very simple plugin that just adds your GA code, doesn’t make any other changes to anything. I would recommend locating the source of the current GA code and going from there with whatever works best.

    Thank you Jeff. I’ll need to step back and figure out where the original code is located.
