installation

I will do a web site. I hope in the next days.

Now I have a Celeron 1.3Ghz running window Xp.
On this machine there are only 128 MB Ram. I would like to install wordpress and other needed SW on Celeron [will it works?].

On the other hand I have found a hosting provider that make a good offer on Linux server Hosting.

I am not sure that a weak Win-Pc configuration could work fine with a Linux Hosting. I can imagine that well written pages should work however. But I would like fill pages with dozens of low res images. premise or promise for a complete uncontrolled mess …

Does anyone think that I should repair my Athlon 2400 [1GB ram] before diving in this adventure …? Or all the stuff “should” work?
