I havve the standard text editor as follows:Black Studio TinyMCE Widget & an extra one which i downloaded: Ultimate TinyMCE
My problem is that on the widgets area of a responsive site even though when you open a widget tiny mce says it is there the rows of buttons don’t show up so i cant change text / add hyperlinks etc…
I was working ok then just dissapeared and then yesterday tiny mce deleted itself from my widgets boxes i put it back in and that deleted all my text.
Please tell me how i can fix this i did notice that you say it only works on wordpress up to 3.5.1 I havent updated to that one yet!

I have just downloaded WP 3.5.1 that doesnt help
when i click on tinymce in widget and it open the box you have the choice of “visual or HTML” if i click on VISUAL i get an error message as follows:
TYPE ERROR: CANNOT CALL METHOD ‘APPLY’ OF UNDEFINED
that doesn’t even sound english to me ;-{

Please check which version of the plugin are you using, and update it if it’s not the latest available.
If the problem persists, please try to selectively disable all other plugins and check if that way it starts to work.

it is latest of ultimate i will check basic one.
in plugins it gives me the choice of deactivate is that same as dissable?
and is it quite simple to re activate (and it wont wipe stuff off my site?

Please notice that this is the support forum for Black Studio TinyMCE Widget, not for Ultimate TinyMCE. First you have to find which plugin is causing your problem. Try to disable all plugins except Black Studio TinyMCE and check if it works or not. You can safely disable the plugin, the widgets will get back when you re-enable it (no content loss).

I disabled all the plugins yesterday, logged out of WP logged back in today ONLY activated tinymce and IT WORKS. THANK YOU 😉
one more question as I have downloaded another mce can I have both running at once if I want to use the pro version do i disable the basic version or can they both run together?

Actually there is no pro version of Black Studio TinyMCE Widget, so I suppose you are talking about another plugin. Please be more precise.
It s OK no problem i have opened up both and they now work.
