    Hi All,

    Hope someone can help?

My wordpress site is hosted on 1&1, when I activate jetpack I get an internal server error in the admin section. I have just figured out that this error also applies to the front end 1&1 url (http://s617668016.websitehome.co.uk/) But the external URL (registered with fasthosts – http://jeffreythenaturalbuilder.com/
) seems to be working. Though I cannot log into the admin section.
Going to jeffreythenaturalbuilder.com/wp-admin/post-new.php gives the error code:

    Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function ://api.github.com/repos() in /homepages/29/d617668013/htdocs/clickandbuilds/JeffreyTheNaturalBuilder/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/modules/related-posts/jetpack-related-posts.php:15 Stack trace: #0 /homepages/29/d617668013/htdocs/clickandbuilds/JeffreyTheNaturalBuilder/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/modules/related-posts.php(64): Jetpack_RelatedPosts::init() #1 /homepages/29/d617668013/htdocs/clickandbuilds/JeffreyTheNaturalBuilder/wp-includes/plugin.php(525): Jetpack_RelatedPosts_Module->action_on_load(”) #2 /homepages/29/d617668013/htdocs/clickandbuilds/JeffreyTheNaturalBuilder/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/class.jetpack.php(1762): do_action(‘jetpack_module_…’) #3 /homepages/29/d617668013/htdocs/clickandbuilds/JeffreyTheNaturalBuilder/wp-includes/plugin.php(525): Jetpack::load_modules(”) #4 /homepages/29/d617668013/htdocs/clickandbuilds/JeffreyTheNaturalBuilder/wp-settings.php(276): do_action(‘plugins_loaded’) #5 /homepages/29/d617668013/htdocs/clickandbuilds/JeffreyTheN in /homepages/29/d617668013/htdocs/clickandbuilds/JeffreyTheNaturalBuilder/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/modules/related-posts/jetpack-related-posts.php on line 15

Anyone able to shed any light on this?

You can follow the instructions I posted here to enable Debug and then access your error logs.

Let me know what you find!

    wp-content/debug.log didnt find this file

I think this issue might be due to the godady hosting as now i have started getting this error
cURL error 28: SSL connection timeout

Now it says you are already connected but when i come back to my admin area it again asks to get connected to jetpack

Can you please use Jetpack’s Debugger module to send us some more information about your site?

    1. Go to the Jetpack page in your dashboard.
    2. Click on the Debug link appearing at the bottom of the page.
    3. Click the link that says “click here to contact Jetpack support.”
    4. Fill in the description box and your name and email address.
    5. Click the “Contact Support” button to send us the debug results privately. It’s best not to post this information on public forums, as it contains private details about your site.

    Thanks!

I am not getting the option of ” click here to contact jetpack support ”
This is what im getting now

Testing your site’s compatibility with Jetpack…

There seems to be a problem with your site’s ability to communicate with Jetpack!

Your site isn’t securely reaching the Jetpack servers.
It looks like your site can not communicate properly with Jetpack.

    Trouble with Jetpack?

It may be caused by one of these issues, which you can diagnose yourself:

A known issue. Some themes and plugins have known conflicts with Jetpack – check the list. (You can also browse the Jetpack support pages or Jetpack support forum to see if others have experienced and solved the problem.)
An incompatible plugin. Find out by disabling all plugins except Jetpack. If the problem persists, it’s not a plugin issue. If the problem is solved, turn your plugins on one by one until the problem pops up again – there’s the culprit! Let us know, and we’ll try to help.
A theme conflict. If your problem isn’t known or caused by a plugin, try activating Twenty Sixteen (the default WordPress theme). If this solves the problem, something in your theme is probably broken – let the theme’s author know.
A problem with your XMLRPC file. Load your XMLRPC file. It should say “XML-RPC server accepts POST requests only.” on a line by itself.
    – If it’s not by itself, a theme or plugin is displaying extra characters. Try steps 2 and 3.
    – If you get a 404 message, contact your web host. Their security may block XMLRPC.
Would you like to use Jetpack on your local development site? You can do so thanks to Jetpack’s development mode.

Shall i share the errors under the lines

“Your site isn’t securely reaching the Jetpack servers.”
“It looks like your site can not communicate properly with Jetpack.”

    here or not ?

@civilengineerspk Could you give another try? The option to contact support should now appear.
