Thank you for reaching out.
This means that Google Listings and Ads plugin is already installed and there is no need to re-install it. You can simply activate it from Plugins → Installed Plugins → Activate.
If the plugin is not listed, reach out to your host so they can delete the Google Listings and Ads plugin from the directory.
Either your host can assist with it, or you can delete the folder using FTP and reinstall it. You can find a guide that outlines how that is done here.

I have been unable to fix the problem so have deactivated the plugin.

Tried to install Google Listings, we receive the error message: Installation failed: Destination folder already exists.
To clarify, did you already have a chance to delete the plugin’s folder using SFTP, or otherwise? Another option would be to reach out to the site’s hosting provider, and request they help with the folder removal, or providing SFTP credentials for you.
