Installation Issue

First of all I use this plugin as a web developer multiple times per week, I love it.

This is the first time I have come across an issue. Have uploaded the installer.php and the zip file via FTP. When I am clicking on installer.php to kick off the process I am getting the following message;

Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_STATIC, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or ‘}’ in /var/www/www.rudler.co.uk/htdocs/installer.php on line 221

Any ideas people? I refuse to believe there is any issue with the file as it is generated by the plugin lol
