Installation of Functions.php

Hi,

I have read through the installation guide and it mentions the ~/your-magento/app/code/local/Mage/ as where to place the new functions.php file.

BUt when I check on my magento installation I cannot see any folder, beyond ~/your-magento/app/code/

There is no local or Mage on my installation.

I have check a couple of friends and they haven’t got any folder beyond ~/your-magento/app/code/local/ certainly not one called Mage.

Am I going mad, or have I completely mis-read the instructions for a single file!! 🙂
