Installation problem thru Web PI

    I am trying to install WordPress on my computer (Windows 7 pro) thru Web Platform Installer (v4.6). After completion of download the WordPress, Installation is not starting. I have waited for hours but still the installation propress bar showing no progress. Please help.
    Note: IIS7 has already been installed.

    Your localhost server setup is not rightly done. Its difficult to say where is the issue. Probably asking at http://forums.iis.net/ will resolve your issue fast. Its actually not an issue with WordPress software itself. Microsoft possibly provides support for that server setup part as well.

    If there is no specific reason to use IIS, WAMP or XAMPP or kind of those software like that will work easily to run WordPress than configuring IIS in case of test or dev setup. Thats normal WordPress (intended for UNIX like OS).

    Actually its difficult to understand the person’s need or level of usage. (You actually should post on localhost section).
