Installation Problem with Bludomain hosting

In using the setup-config.php file, I was able to set up my wp-config.php and get past the first step of installation. It fails on step 2 and says “Error establishing a database connection”

I’ve double and triple checked that my username and password are accurate but it continues to give me this error on installation. I’m using the server name localhost and have cpanel.

I was able to run the phpinfo file to get the settings as well but I’m not sure where to go from here. Any help would be appreciated.
