installation warnings

    downloaded WP yesterday, uploaded to /blog folder and run from chrome. i am getting some warnings:

    at the very end of the warnings it says run install, however when i click this it just takes me back to http://www.greywolfstudio.com/blog where i originally started and when i do it over it just runs in circles like this.
    any idea?

    Hey brankulo,

    Hope you are well!

    This seems like error with the permissions on your install files and maybe folders.

    You can check what the codex says at this link here – http://codex.ww.wp.xz.cn/Changing_File_Permissions

    Basically it comes to this:

    All directories should be 755 or 750.
    All files should be 644 or 640. Exception: wp-config.php should be 440 or 400 to prevent other users on the server from reading it.

    You will need to have the right permissions for the files and the folders on your server, and they must be owned by the same user/group as the webserver uses.
