Sorry, I really tried but I cant get the paths right. I used the php-info, set the cookie paths, imo I did everthing in the manual but I keep getting this error:
Wp w3all miss phpBB configuration file: please set the correct absolute path to phpBB by opening:

Apparently I need to edit some php-file to get some comment out, but which file is that?
And do I need to set both the path in red and the path to phpbb or just one of them? (I tried all combinations but no luck).
Is it possible to get a stepwise instruction without all the red texts and warnings?

And while we’re at it: is it possible to add a static homepage to a phpboard so I can ditch this wordpress-thing alltogether? (I’d rather have the integration since I’m using a planning tool “Easy Appointments” that’s a wordpress-plugin but I’m getting to the point where I’ll code my own html/css/php in notepad to avoid all this frustrating “user-friendliness” that seems to work but in end does not)

if you choose to include the root phpBB config.php
    https://www.axew3.com/w3/forums/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=61
if you choose to setup a custom config.php then follow this:
    https://www.axew3.com/w3/2016/09/how-to-setup-wp_w3all-manual-phpbb-config-php-file-and-path/
and if still in trouble, re-post (maybe link the phpinfo.php file that you’ll place into your server, and the link of your wp and phpBB, so we can see the correct path, (if these installations aren’t on a test inaccessible localhost install).
