• Hello,

I want to have two sub-domains using one dashboard. I’m trying to create a Network but can’t find the wp-config.php file to edit. I didn’t install WordPress on my computer and was wondering if there was a way to set up a Network without using this file, as I don’t currently know where it resides. Can I install wordpress again on my computer, and then edit the files and re-upload them to my site?

I’m sorry if this wasn’t clear. Thanks for any advice!

WordPress isn’t installed on your computer, all you need on your computer is a browser, and an FTP or SFTP client for advanced file tinkering.

Everything is installed on your server, and that’s where you’ll find the wp-config.php file to edit.

With that said though, a Multisite network doesn’t give you two subdomains with one Dashboard, it gives you two sites with two Dashboards from one WordPress installation.

Why do you need two separate subdomains to use the same Dashboard?
