Installing new template/theme

    I have uploaded a template from HostGator but when trying to install it I get an error message that says: can’t install template is missing. I have tried contacting HostGator but am not getting any support/answers from their support team. I have also tried to find another way to download the template but cannot find it anywhere. I have uploaded it manually via ftp into wp-content: themes and have tried to upload in WordPress under themes. I have been trying to fix this all weekend to no avail. Please any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

    What theme are you uploading? Where did you download it from?

    I downloaded the theme from HostGator and the theme says Dram_12 template# 3494. I have tried contacting HostGator but am not getting anywhere.

    I’m sorry but as you appear to be using a non-WPORG theme, you need to seek support from the theme’s developers – paid or otherwise. We only support themes downloaded from ww.wp.xz.cn here.

    ok, thank you so much for answering my question, I will try HostGator again.
