installing plug in's

hi,

it started to happen on my blog that when I want to install any plug in that the system asks me for a host name, ftp: user name, password and type.

I got all of that info from my hosting provider (godaddy) but still not able to install plug in (the same thing happens with any kind of plug ins).

I had a phone conversation with my hosting support after it and they were’t able to help me with it.

Do you have any idea what to do?
