Installing theme error

Hi! im currently using the Salient theme and im trying to change to the Divi theme from elegantthemes.com the proble is that when every time i try to upload the theme it gives me this message: The uploaded file could not be moved to wp-content/uploads/2014/12.

What should i do?

yesterday, also wordpress whas asking for my ftp credentials( something that has never happened to me before)….

the problem is notthe theme, it is on wp/server, i have installed this theme in several sites and never got this error before… that’s why i assume that the problem is within the WP or the Server.

No, I don’t think the problem is with WP.

Does your WP-CONTENT directory has the proper permission settings? Are you able to upload any other theme? Do you have any problems uploading images to the Media Library?

Yes, i’m having trouble with that too.

You need to make sure the permissions setting for that folder are set correctly.

You may want to check this article (it’s a bit technical but its what’s probably needed). If it’s really all abracadabra to you, you might want to check with your hosting company.
