Installing wordpress on a subdomain

    Hello,

    I’ve set up a sub-domain website and just want to make sure I’m doing everything right. The main domain website is a wordpress set up but the sub-domain site will be running on another theme. I’ve installed wordpress but the site is currently subdomain.maindomain.com/wordpress – obviously that’s not quite right. Advice please.

    Well I thought i did, but when you go to the site, the first page shows as index of /wordpress

    Next time, do not upload the whole wordpress folder – just all of its content.

    Ok. I’ve not started on the content of the site. Would it be worth removing that wordpress folder and then just re-add the content of the folder into the sub-domain folder?
