• Initially I installed the plugin and there was an “optimize images” checkbox (enabled by default), that I did not look carefully into. After the plugin was installed, I noticed that some kind of optimization plugin had been installed. That was fine as I felt it was my mistake for not looking into that more carefully,

Today I find another plugin on our site, a plugin called “Otter Blocks”.

This is quite a shady practice – probably done to boost the installs and visibility of the other plugins.

Thank you for reaching out. I’d like to clarify a few points. Our templates in LightStart are specifically built with Otter Blocks. To utilize these templates effectively, the Otter plugin is required. However, if you prefer not to use our templates, you have the option to build a page from scratch with any builder you prefer by following this option: https://vertis.d.pr/i/A3ESrq.

It’s crucial to note that there is no intent to force users into unnecessary installations. We’re committed to providing flexibility in how you use LightStart.

    We appreciate your understanding.
