May I ask you to uncheck ‘Insert a box at the end of the post?(If needed)’ option from the plugin settings to see what happens?
Inline Related Posts is designed to automatically choose the related posts each time that the page is refreshed.
However that are few settings that you can defined for instance:
Exclude from specific posts

Load only posts of last N. days

Load posts only tag-based or category-based

Unfortunately, at the moment, IRP is not compatible with FB instant articles.
I’ve passed your request to our product team so they will evaluate to add it in next versions of the plugin.
