    Hello,

I have recently added a new plugin called ‘multiple instructors’ which allows me to add multiple instructors to my site and create online courses. A part of this plugin is to enable instructor profiles so people can view online courses from particular instructors. However, the profile for some reason isnt generating. I have contacted the plugin, and upon investigation, they are saying it is due to Yoast. Could someone from your team please take a look at whats happening and why there is a conflict/resolution? Thank you

    Hello Nutrition2change,

    Thanks for reaching out.

Can you temporarily disable the Yoast SEO plugin and confirm if the issue persists?

I have yes, and it does not.

    Apologies, it does persist

    Thanks for the feedback.

Unfortunately, we are not familiar with the plugin. We could not find it in the WordPress plugin repository, so we can test and replicate the issue you reported. Is this a premium plugin?

Hello, yes it is a premium plugin. Here is a link to it in case you want to take a further look – https://wisdmlabs.com/instructor-role-extension-for-learndash/

I’d be happy to provide credentials to the staging site (privately via email) if you’d like to test some things

Since it is a premium plugin, we do not have access to it. And unfortunately, we are unable to accept login credentials to a staging site. Our Yoast SEO Premium plugin comes with one year of (technical) support via email. Please contact our support team for assistance. How can I get premium support?

    Thread Starter nutrition2change

    (@nutrition2change)

I don’t have nor need a premium version of yoast. Is there anything you need from the other company that I can provide you that can help determine the conflict?

Please don’t offer to send or post logon credentials on these forums:

You can contact the author on their own site and, once there, the discussion is between the two of you. However, it is not OK to enter or send site credentials on these forums. We don’t want to encourage others (who are less reputable) to do similar things. It’s a fine line, but one that we need to enforce. Thanks for your cooperation.

If you please read my comment thoroughly, you’ll notice I said (privately via email). Thanks

Yes, I read that, but, as I said, “Please don’t offer to send or post logon credentials on these forums”. We do not want to normalize the practice.

    Hi @nutrition2change

Seeing as it isn’t a plugin that is offered on the WordPress plugin repository, it’s difficult for us to test and try and reproduce the issue on our end.

We also are unable to troubleshoot this with the log-in credentials to your staging site on these public forums. You may want to consider Yoast SEO Premium so we can provide you with personal premium personal support over email and take a closer look at this.

Otherwise, if you can reproduce this issue with a default WP theme (such as TwentyTwenty), and only that aforementioned ‘Multiple Instructors’ plugin and only Yoast SEO as the plugins enabled, we would recommend that you create a bug report by following the steps here – https://yoast.com/help/how-to-write-a-good-bug-report/

Logging a bug report for our team, and for the team of that 3rd party plugin would also be good, as having both teams work on the issue would help in the resolution of it.

    (@nutrition2change)

I spoke to the other plugin developers and they said that they are also happy to provide a copy to you of the plugin to investigate the issue? Would that help, can you work with that?

@nutrition2change we’d be happy to explore further this issue. However, as per forum policy, it is not legal to share files/credentials via this public forum.

To receive the dedicated support you recommend that you our Yoast SEO Premium plugin comes with one year of (technical) support.`

We are going ahead and marking this issue as resolved due to inactivity. If you require any further assistance please create a new issue.
