I have a beginner’s question about how to proceed. I want to have a set of thumbnails, and when one is clicked it will show a separate page that has a picture of one of my paintings, descriptive information and an add to cart button. Do I create galleries/albums with Nextgen and incorporate the ecommerce components somehow (perhaps using woocommerce), or do I create products and do everything in woocommerce?

I’m in process of creating my site and haven’t published yet. I use Bluehost, WordPress, and Sydney theme. My site will be ohoskiart.com. My email is [email protected].
    Thank you.

  • You do everything inside WC and it will create the single page for that piece of art to be bought.

You’ll create categories. Say for instance Painting, Photography, Sculptures and so on and then attach your art (product) to those particular categories.

I would highly suggest watching a video on how to properly setup WC.

Thank you very much. I will search out some videos and become proficient in woocommerce.
