@ozcontentguru Hi,
Our plugin already includes Schema markup for food recipes using the JSON-LD format, so there is no need for any integrations with the Yoast schema API, especially that this is a more specific markup, which Yoast doesn’t include.
Thanks for the reply. That’s interesting. What recipe metadata does your plugin output that can’t be integrated inside Yoast SEO schema graph?
@ozcontentguru You can use the Google’s Structured Data testing tool to see all the details included in our plugin:
https://search.google.com/structured-data/testing-tool/u/0/#url=https%3A%2F%2Fdemo.wpzoom.com%2Frecipe-card-blocks%2F2019%2F03%2F26%2Fnew-style-design%2F
Just click on the “Recipe” item to see its details.
We’re also working currently on adding Video inside this block too, and there will be a PRO version with Rating support.
As for the Yoast integration, we simply didn’t considered this important and we prefer to have our own stand-alone plugin without relying on other 3rd parties.
