Integration with Advanced Custom Fields

I’m using ACF flexible content layouts on a big site which also contains a number of vacancy application forms created using Caldera Forms.

I want the client to be able to place a Caldera Form into a flexible content layout (different forms for different vacancies), but Forms don’t show up as a post type. And the Caldera Form placement button doesn’t show on WYSIWYG editor blocks in flexible layouts. Any thoughts?

Is my only option to add a custom metabox to my Vacancy post type and query the database directly to get a list of the form names, then use do_shortcode in my template?
