Hi @neilson248 !
I think it’d help to know a little more details, especially if it’s just one person who seems to be effected: What device/operating system/browser does that user use? What question type within interactive videos is causing the problem? All of them? Any?
Cheers,
Oliver
Hi Otacke,
Thanks for getting back to me on this… The issue appeared on both a Windows device as well as an Apple Macbook, on Chrome for Windows, Chrome for IOS and Safari in two different locations: at his house and at his grandmother’s house – it’s pretty strange, not to mention, annoying.
The question types I have been using are drag text, single choice, multiple-choice and true/false – as far as I remember it happened with all these question types. The first time it happened, I got him to clear cache and I did so on the server and it worked. But then the issue reappeared after a few more exercises and clearing cache no longer worked – I even disabled the SG Plugin and it still did not work.
Have you come across this before?
Kind regards,
Neil
@neilson248 No, I have not come across this before (and can’t reproduce the issue) – but simply saying “this doesn’t work” is not really helping those who are supposed to help you. That’s why at https://h5p.org/forum/9 there’s a list if things that you might want to check and add to bug reports, and that’s why I was asking 🙂
Hi Otacke,
If you see my response above, I’m pretty sure I didn’t just say ‘this doesn’t work’; I mentioned the operating systems, the browsers, the types of devices, the question types and the steps I took to try and resolve the issue… so, yeah, putting a smiley face at the end of your response doesn’t change the fact that it is patronising.
Also, my first step was to post in the forum that you linked me to but guess what? “It doesn’t work”; the forum wouldn’t allow me to log in.
🙂
@neilson248 I was referring to your first post and trying to explain that I may not be able to help myself, but I could at least get some more information from you that others will need anyway.
Why refer to the first post when there is a second post?
And is it not clear from my second post that I understood the point of your first response?
No worries, mate.
@neilson248 Maybe because communication is not my strength.
Hi Neil,
Thanks for reporting this.
I was unfortunately not able to reproduce this, can you post this at the h5p.org forums: https://h5p.org/forum/9 ? (you’ll have to create an account) with detailed steps on how to reproduce this ?
It would help significantly if you can share the .h5p export file of the content where this fails, and explain in which situations this happens.
Thanks.
