Interesting…and Weird ?

    I changed information (contact number in the footer adjusting the php file)…and when i go to the site….it shows the old phone number (all from my home computer(S).

    However, when i log in using the sitename/wp-admin—-the new number shows up. When i then logout…the old phone number then reappears on the site????

    Is there anyway to correct this?

    I my old day of using D.Weaver….this was accomplished by changing the index file.

    I don’t know how to correct this problem in WP (SIGH).

    Anyone?

    Your constructive input is greatly appreciated.

    What i mean by this is….all i did when using DW…was upload the index page…and all changes were recognized immediately.

    Anyone…?

    I can’t seem to make changes.

    I am using the 2010 theme. I tried clearing the cache…and reinstalled the WP super cache…and installed WP 3 Cache….and that didn’t work either.

    Any ideas?

    You should not be using any caching if you expect changes to show up right away – disable and clear all of them.

    I am fairly confident that both WP Super Cache and W3 Total Cache include a setting to serve (or not to) pages to logged in users….that said, you should spend some time in a test site reviewing how best to use them in your current server env. …there are some settings such as above that can impact how you perceive caching on your site. Use a third party service to see how caching impacts your typical visitors…and discuss with host anything they might know about how caching works best on their servers.

    I also think WP Super Cache will serve a basic blog best (IMHO).
