Interface improvements/comparison
-
Hi, nothing on TV – so here’s a quick comparison to the post- and edit-screens.
Why? I got confused while switching between them and the options. Maybe there’s
a chance to improve parts of the interface (compared nightly 1.1 5th feb 04).

Questions and suggestions ; )
– Multiple rows in Excerpt-field.
– Preview (in new window).
– Draft-list also in advanced editing.
– Quicktags-Buttons better visible in Safari, got cut
due MacOS X Interface ( for and after tag?)
– Quicktags-Buttons sorted/seperated by family:
»text« (ul, ol, em, …) and »post« (n-page, more, …)
– Categories/Subcategories displayed in logical order
(child under parent, intend)
– Bookmarklet on standard-posting looks like filling up the page…
– Is it possible to define my own Quicktag-buttons like in pMachine?
– Are there plans for a workflow?
editor -> okay -> chief -> sleep/awake/okay -> public
Edit-page:
– Forms for search/view/show looks like one single form…
– divider between entries in list
Categories:
– statistics for comments per category in list
(in general few statistics)
======
That’s it for now, just to clean up my brain a bit ; )
