Interior Design Portfolio

Hi,
i am looking for an easy plugin or function/tip to add a portfolio of my interior design projects to my website/blog http://www.studiocolumbo.com. I’d prefer to have a page called ‘portfolio’ in the top and after people click that show several thumbnails in a gallery style with a short description. Then behind each thumbnail the option to share more pics and info. Once in the portfolio I’d prefer to have the same look and feel as the website itself. I hope that between English being my 2nd language and my very limited technical skills you know what I mean.

I could create the page with thumbnails below each other and then create pages for each project but maybe there is an easier way?
