Intermittent error database connection

    HELLO, AFTER READING THIS…. https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/error-establishing-a-database-connection-intermittently/ i have the same issue, except that my server has 25 connections per users, and haven’t reached even 1% … Meaning problems never started until I have made the update to WP 5.3.2 (could this be WP related? I doubt so – but can’t exclude)

    All the process the gentleman have went through in this thread, is what we did. The difference is that the server we have is sufficiently capable for our request. meaning we have been having it for 15 years almost, and NEVER has that data error connection.

    Even a website that has ONLY 2 PAGE experiences the same issue.
    I tried the WP repair database, it came up with errors for one of the sites, while the other one been successful… still same issues everywhere… Been forth and back with host, they don’t see any related errors… (which I doubt)… but…

    I tried to open an account with Bluehost.. WORST!!! Went back to my usual host of 15 years… Don’t know what to do any more! PLEASE HELP.

    Do you mind following up see what else can you think could be the issue? thanks

    Any time you get intermittent problems like that, it’s the server being not able to handle the load. If it was something from WordPress it would happen all of the time.

    The only thing you can do is to talk to you hosting company. They are the only ones that can hlp you with this as it’s 100% a hosting problem.

    PROBLEM JUST DISAPPEARED. HOSTING SITE ADMIN SAID. THEY HAVE MADE TESTS AND LOOKED INTO MYSQL LOGS ERRORS, AND IT IS NOT ON THEIR END, BUT THEME (OCEAN WP) OR PLUGINS (ELEMENTOR) … I GAVE UP!
    AND COUPLE DAYS AFTER… IT JUST STARTED WORKING. SO, I’M HANGING IN THERE, NOT KNOWING WHAT… AND WHY…
