    Hi Stunley,

Sorry that you ran into issues here!

That’s not an error we’ve heard reported thus far…

What is it that you’re doing to get the exception?

Have you tried a conflict test? Here is an article about how to test for theme and plugin conflicts with Business Directory, which may help pinpoint the issue: http://businessdirectoryplugin.com/support-forum/faq/how-to-check-for-plugin-and-theme-conflicts-with-bd/

What version of BD and WP are you running here?

    Please let me know.

I used the wordpress importer to export the directory from local directory site to a live site. Running the latest versions of WP (4.5.2–en_GB) and BDP (3.7.5).

As I said, pressing the update button rectifies the entry. I just thought it may prove useful somehow?

    Hi stunley,

The directory import will be a resource-intensive process that consumes a great deal of memory and CPU. If you’re on shared hosting, I would expect that you could see that behavior. As imports tend to be a one-time deal, I don’t think it should be a longer term issue once you have your directory initially configured.

If you continue to have issues, let me know exactly what you’re doing that isn’t an import operation that may be causing it.
