    Some sub-domains (sites) verify easily, others get a “The necessary verification token could not be found on your site. This may be related to your site using a page caching plugin. Please flush your home page cache and then try again.” error.

  • @eddyflowww thanks for your report. It sounds like you’re correctly using Site Kit at the sub-site level as it currently supports this.

    Is there any caching enabled on the site (plugin) or at the server level at your host?

    We’re well beyond checking caching.

    We found that if we switch back to the default Customize setting ” -Select-” for Home page and Blog, the verification works perfectly. Then set the Home and Blog again.

    @eddyflowww thanks for your reply and outlining the steps you took to get through verification. It may be related to the verification tag not being detected at first. I see it in your source code. Would you be able to share more about your setup (theme and/or plugins used, Site Health Information)? It would be great to see what could have been interfering.

    We are in a Multisite environment with our own custom theme which is build on the Unyson Framework.

    @eddyflowww thanks so much!
