Are there plans to support the ability to edit the tables from the block in the Gutenberg editor? At the moment you have to manage the table outside of the page. This is Ok but sometimes means you toggle between the page and post it is used on.

Hi,

thanks for your question! Yes, this is a long-term goal, but as some any aspects of the WordPress block editor are still evolving, I can’t yet estimate if or when this will be possible.
