Thanks for reaching out @osamwebsites. Given your mention regarding this happening across multiple sites and servers, please share the following and we can try to determine more on this, while hopefully ensuring you can complete setup:
- Your Site Health information for one of these impacted sites. You can use this form to share privately if preferred.
- A screen recording of your experience when setting up Site Kit from this disposable WordPress site. You can use a service such as Loom or Zight to share a screen recording, while using the same form to share this privately. This will help indicate where there is something locally impacting setup.
- When you mention this is occurring across servers, are these servers from the same hosting platform where you can configurate a server location, or have you tried different hosting platforms?
Once we have the above, we can advise on this further with some troubleshooting suggestions to ensure you can complete Site Kit set up and use the plugin as expected. We may ask you to use the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin if we suspect a plugin conflict for a plugin used across multiple sites, or ask you to review your Site Health status for some host related errors.
Let me know if you have any questions with the above. Thank you.
Hi James,
Thank you for your reply. I’ve filled out the form for you, hopefully that will provide all of the information you need, here is a link to the video: https://www.loom.com/share/80dbaf776d03487f9eb1b147a17eba4c?sid=256a3975-f93f-43cc-a43c-2608ba6d2ea1
Many thanks for sharing the recording, which was very useful to see. It looks like the error that you’re facing may be related you already at your limit for new Google Analytics accounts, given it looks like you’re selecting the option to create a new account. I tested this myself on a Google account that has reached the maximum amount of Google Analytics accounts per Google account, and I encounter the same.
While the issue you’re facing isn’t a Site Kit issue, there are a few options you have to ensure you can complete setup. This includes the following:
- Delete some existing Google Accounts accounts, to free up space. The maximum number of accounts a Google account can own is 100 (source).
- Using a different Google account to set up Site Kit.
- Using an existing Google Analytics account as opposed to selecting the option for Site Kit to create a new one for you.
- Request another administrator of this site if any, or your client if setting up for a client, sets up Site Kit with their own Google account. After doing so, they can grant you access to the Google Analytics account or property that they connect. You can then connect Site Kit as a different administrator account so you also have access, without owning that Google Analytics account,
Let me know if you have any questions with the above.
As we didn’t receive a response I’ll mark this as resolved. Feel free to open a new support topic if you continue to encounter issues, or reopen this topic and we’d be happy to assist.
