• My site appears to be working normally. Yet, If I try to access the dashboard via iPhone app (since August 3) I get the following message.

    received ‘internal server error’. it seems there is a problem with your wordpress site.

    My site is self-hosted. I’ve tried changing themes, but I’m not quite sure what an ‘internal server error’ is on a self hosted site that appears to work normally on line, yet get the above error via iPhone.

    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    I should add… I tried to reinstall WordPress 3.6 over the top. It crashes. Site works normally, and appears normal.

    Does your site work normally from a regular computer? Is it only the App that has problems?

    Have you tried clearing the cache on Safari on your phone?

    Still not working. As mentioned above… plus, I tried to reinstall WordPress 3.6 over the top. It crashes. Site works normally, and appears normal.

    Nevermind folks… I figured it out. JetPack is NOT compatible with 3.6 End of story. I disabled it, and was able to reinstall 3.6 over the top with no issues. iPhone WordPress app “internal server” error went away as well.

    JetPack needs an update ASAP.

    You are correct. It’s 2010 weaver……… Are you saying that’s an issue with JetPack?

    If the theme hasn’t been updated since then, it’s quite possible it might have a problem with plugins or WP… You could try the standard troubleshooting steps and deactivate other plugins and switch to the twentytwelve theme.

    I tried another theme. Has nothing to do with it. New theme, reactivated JetPack and the same problem occurs. JetPack is the culprit. Hope they fix the incompatibility in the next version…
