Internal Server Error after Database restoration

    I am facing problems with my site hosted under a VPS since last 4 days.

    I suddenly happened to see Internal Server Error 4 days back.

    I then installed a fresh copy of WordPress on the same server. It works fine with both default and custom permalinks.

    But when I restore my database from a previous working database the site goes slow and throws an Internal Server Error.

    The site was working fine till May 11.

    How can I solve this issue?
