are you getting the internal server 500 error?? If yes, you need to contact your host pertaining to the host restriction set by the host.
Usually, the host will only to allow max 755 CHMOD settings.
Check with them, you might get your answers.

You arent by chance with yahoo webhosting are you? Over the last 2-3 days ive had this error a TON.. usually when using the address http://www.loadingreality.com but if I drop the www as in http://loadingreality.com it works just fine.
However I have had this same error on the dashboard also.. I am very curious to see if you are using yahoo webhosting also.. this error has been upsetting me so much over the last 3 days
Yes, it is the 500 Internal Server error. The interesting thing is that I’ve got 4 other blogs running on the same server. They are separate installations (not WordPress MU), and as far as I can see the settings are the same on each installation (except for the themes). On the other blogs, the “Other WordPress News” show up fine (no errors), it’s just this particular one. So it can’t be something with the hosting, since all the blogs are on the same server, just in different directories. And all of the directories have the same permissions set (0755). PHP on the server runs under my login.
And no, it’s not Yahoo… I use phpwebhosting.
Thanks for the tries so far…
Wow… I really should have let people know this was resolved.
It ended up being a server memory issue. Contacted my host, they upped my allowed memory, and viola, no more problems.
