I just started my blog kempnitreal.com and I was receiving an error 400 when I tried to click on my posts. In order to fix this problem I went on Word Press forums and they told me to go into SEO and edit files. I did this, NOW I am completely locked out off my page. I copy and pasted a new code and completely messed up everything. Every time I try to log on I get this message:

    Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, [email protected] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Please help me get my page back up and running

  • I went on Word Press forums and they told me to go into SEO and edit files…

Who exactly told you this? Post the forum thread URL.

Use FTP to replace the files you changes with fresh copies. See Filezilla and FTP Clients « WordPress Codex. Or use Bluehost’s file manager in your Cpanel.

Thanks so much for your response. However, I am new to wordpress. When you say filezilla and FTP what does it mean? I know that I went to my plugin SEO and edited my files and this is why I am having such a rough time.

I went to bluehost and went into CPanel but I’m not sure what I do next. I am so confused because I have never done anything like this before. I will try to find that url with the codes and post it here.

In the meantime if you can walk me through what to do to get my site up and running that would be awesome!

Only thing you can do is read how to use FTP and replace the SEO plugin you edited.
