    Hi! Before deciding on going with MercadoPago for a site, i need to be sure that it’s possible to receive payments from international credit cards on an argentinean account. I’m selling a digital product so i need to be able to collect payments from any country (Visa, MasterCard, AMEX). Thanks!

    Hi @mebugarin,

    For now, Mercado Pago can’t process this type of payment. Mercado Pago is present in AR, BR, CO, CL, MX, PE, VE, and UR, and can only process payments if:
    1. The seller account and credentials (email, access token, etc) are from a supported country by Mercado Pago;
    2. The buyer is using a card which issuer is from the same country of the seller account.

    In your case, as you’re using an argentinian account, you can only receive payments from cards that are issued in Argentina. It’s independent if the card is or ins’t international, it needs to be from an issuer of Argentina and must process payments using Argentinian’s pesos.
