    Hello there,

    http://www.evomotorsport.net/

We’re using the cookie law info plugin on this site and it works perfectly with Chrome and Firefox. With Internet Explorer (tested on IE11 and earlier) the cookie bar shows up with every new page, despite clicking Accept. This is with the default IE privacy settings at Medium. If I change the settings to Low, then then the cookie bar appears once only..
The difference between Medium and Low is this setting: “Block or restrict first-party cookies (cookies that originate in the same domain as the Web site being visited)” So, I’m wondering if there is a plugin setting which I have not seen which will fix this, or if it’s caused by an error in the site or something else I’m doing wrong.
    Please can you assist?
    Thank you very much!

  • Hi Kathy

The plugin must set a cookie in order to remember the user has clicked “accept”. So if you restrict access to cookies then you remove the ability to do this. This is an issue with IE/your specific browser settings and not the plugin.

    All the best,
    Richard
