    Hello,
and thank you very much for the beautiful Eksell Theme!
I have a multilingual blog (german/english) and try to have a translation for the “Intro Text” shown on top of the archive page. I have to admit, that i am not very deep into wordpress…
With some help of google I tried it with a extension (TTfP) for the Polylang plugin. Unfortunately i was not able to find the Intro Text in the translation section of Polylang.
Is there a way to have the Intro Text shown in seperate languages?
    Thanks for any help 🙂

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @bicicleando,

    I’m glad you like it!

I believe that there are localization plugins that allow you to set language specific values for Customizer settings (where you set the intro text), but I haven’t used one in a while, so I can’t be sure. Maybe WPML? You could reach out to the Polylang folks and ask as well.

    Hi Anders

    Thanks for your answer.
It took me some time to figuer out a solution for the translation but i found out finally.
For everyone who is able to code there is the option to register a new string containing the intro text.

In my case I found a plugin “polylang register all strings” https://www.epicwpsolutions.com/plugins/polylang-register-all-strings/ which helped to do this without coding. It overwrites the the Text writen in the customizer box.

    Bye
    Samuel
