Hi guys,
recently my WordPress started showing the following message at the top of the page
Invalid campaign token ‘xxxx’
I expose what I have tried so far without satisfactory results:
– disable all plugins
– change active theme

Any ideas

WordPress 5.5.3

Hmmm… occurs right after the <body> element.

Are you using Marketo? I found some references to that when Googling.

This may be a plugin or theme conflict. Please attempt to disable all plugins, and use one of the default (Twenty*) themes. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of your troubles.

If you can install plugins, install “Health Check”: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/health-check/ On the troubleshooting tab, you can click the button to disable all plugins and change the theme for JUST you, while you’re still logged in, without affecting normal visitors to your site. You can then use its admin bar menu to turn on/off plugins and themes one at a time. I installed the health-check plugin and followed the steps to verify a theme or plugin conflict. With all plugins and theme disabled the issue still persist. According to https://rankmath.com/kb/check-plugin-conflicts/ my WordPress setup is the root of the problem.

That doesn’t make sense. If you disabled ALL plugins *and* changed the theme, then what?

the invalid token message “invalid campaign token” continues to appear at the top of the page https://ibb.co/G5Qpq52

All plugins are disabled and the default theme is Twenty Twenty.

Ok, please install the plugin “string locator” and search for “campaign” in all files. Let’s see if that’s anyplace.
