What is the detected server software? DirectAdmin, CPanel, or Plesk?

Entering this data is not required, but if the API on your hosting environment allows this, entering them allows the plugin to install the certificate automatically.

Without it, you need to install the SSL certificate manually.

I don’t know I’m using cloudways I have to use FileZilla to edit my files I don’t know if that helps.

I have an SSL through cloudflare what options should I select?

If I remember correctly you can select cloudways as host. Then it should install automatically.

It asked me for a cloudways api this time and it worked, however it still continues to say:

No SSL certificate has been detected yet. In some cases this takes a few minutes.

Is the SSL provided by cloudflare not valid or do I need an additional SSL?

This should work, but may take some time to become visible. Please also try a check with https://ssllabs.com/ssltest

It’s saying that I have one here:
    https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/analyze.html?d=rickkhan.com

Its only in the SSL plugin it keeps saying an SSL isn’t installed and still shows the same error:
No SSL certificate has been detected yet. In some cases this takes a few minutes.

This means the certificate is fine. If you go back to the dashboard, then click “recheck”, the plugin’s cache should be cleared. As SSL labs shows it’s valid, you can also choose ‘override SSL detection’, then click activate.

I don’t see either of these options, I only see the option to retry which doesn’t appear to do anything or it just keeps showing the exact same error message.

    Hi @realitymanifestation,

do you still see this message? If so, could you post a screenshot of your SSL dashboard?

    Thread Starter realitymanifestation

    (@realitymanifestation)

It’s still showing the same error when I try to complete it. Heres a screen shot below although I don;t know if its working on the

No SSL certificate has been detected yet. In some cases this takes a few minutes.

    Hi @realitymanifestation,

your site does have a valid SSL certificate, so you can exit the Let’s Encrypt wizard and navigate to the Settings->SSL page. SSL should be detected there.

    Thread Starter realitymanifestation

    (@realitymanifestation)

It isn’t detected their either it says:

No SSL detected. Use the retry button to check again.

And whenever I click retry it doesn’t appear to do anything.

Can you dismiss the ‘No SSL detected’ notice by pressing the X right next to it? Your site does have a valid SSL certificate, so the notice can be safely ignored.

Ok but will simple SSL be doing anything, it appeared to be me it was going through a set up process but hasn’t actually changed anything?

Really Simple SSL will add a redirect to https:// and configure your site for SSL, even when the plugin has not generated your SSL certificate. For an overview of what the plugin does please see the Really Simple SSL ww.wp.xz.cn plugin page
