Invalid file type

    I am trying to import a CSV file that was exported by the same plugin on a different WordPress site.

    When I upload this file into the “Drag and Drop or Click and Upload” panel i see this error message popup:
    Invalid file type. Please upload a valid import file.

    When I open the file with a text editor, it looks fine with a header line and comma separated values.

    What could be the problem?

    The error you’re seeing usually appears when there’s a formatting or encoding issue with the file. Could you please confirm whether the file was opened in any spreadsheet application (such as Excel) before importing? If so, kindly make sure the file is saved again in CSV format with UTF-8 encoding before uploading.

    If the issue continues, feel free to share a copy of the CSV file (with any sensitive information removed) via a file-sharing service, and we’ll be happy to take a closer look.
