Your link is broken.
I had the same issue, you need to read and understand the “Top Tip!” fully in Step 7 of the Instructions.
Use a private browser window and make sure you are ONLY logged into the email account you want to use with WordPress when authorizing the plugin for use. It is all to easy for a non-private window to use a cached login authentication (usually the wrong one…)
I lost about an hour fighting this pitfall myself, even though I read the instructions fully an stubbornly tried to do it without the private window.

Hi @lukebenden, sorry to hear you’re having issues, I believe @readconsult is correct in this instance. Hope that resolves your issue!
Hi Edward,
I initially got the plugin Activated and working, but “Invalid OAuth State” turned up when I later set up “Enable Send As” with a group “donotreply” email address, and clicked “Save”. These 3 messages appeared at top:
Settings saved.
Invalid OAuth State
Plugin is configured to send mail via Office 365
…And the web forms could not send mail (spin endlessly). I then went back and disabled “Send As”, and it saved properly, and works. However, we do need to be able to send as (a donotreply address).
The “Send As” address is a group mailbox in M365, and the authenticated address is a member of the group (tested, working). Any thoughts? Thanks!
