Hi, i am getting an error when I am trying to set up the plug in at the settings screen.

Message:Invalid path. Please enter the file path to Piwik.

I am setting the proper path, I think.
I am using the path that I would go to to see my stats without your plugin.

    Any help is appreciated.
    Thanks.

  • After testing this feature I have come to the same conclusion.
I noticed there is also no documentation on how to setup wp-piwik using that option.

REST API (WP-Piwik communicates to Piwik using HTTP): you have to enter your Piwik’s URL (“the path that I would go to to see my stats without your plugin”).

PHP API (WP-Piwik communicates to Piwik by including Piwik API classes): you have to enter the file path to Piwik on your server (e.g., /var/www/vhosts/myhost.name/httpdocs/piwk/), Piwik has to run on the same server as your WordPress blog.

Btw: Please avoid using features marked as “beta” if you don’t know what this feature is about.
